MVM is a 16-meter, double-deck catamaran. The lower level deck is fully enclosed with wonderful river views while the upper deck is open air with a third of its large deck under shade. It is suitable for special occasions such as weddings, engagements, and large gatherings. You can also celebrate those special birthdays and anniversaries, as well as corporate events or a lovely way to celebrate a memorial in this boat.
If wedding bells are imminent, ask for our Wedding Package. Consider a different angle on tying the knot with an emphasis on a unique experience for a refreshingly low budget. The boat’s capacity is a minimum of 20 adults and a maximum of 50 pax for seated meals & 70 pax for casual mingling events.
Just like a floating hotel, the Maroochy is a licensed venue that offers a range of beer, cider, wine, spirits, and cocktails available (cocktails upon request). Drinks are either purchased by guests or a bar tab may be organized by the event organizer that is strictly settled at the end of the cruise.
Also like a hotel, food, utensils, and beverages on this vessel are supplied by Cruise Maroochy. We have a variety of dining styles available to suit all kinds of cruising parties and events. The MV Maroochy choice is uninterrupted cruising on the Maroochy River as far as possible in the north and south.
The Skipper will plot the best course for the day, taking everything including tides & hire time. Please remember that all information should be given at least two weeks in full prior to your event.
