If you are a keen fisherman and you are coming to Broadbeach for a holiday, you will probably want to try out one of the fantastic Gold Coast fishing charter operators. There are many different charter operators to choose from and most operate half-day trips over the Southport seaway to fish for pelagics and reef fish in the ocean waters along the Gold Coast.
Broadbeach is a great place to base yourself and most of the fishing charters operate from the marinas close to the Southport Yacht Club which is situated at the southern end of the Southport Broadwater. It is quite close to Broadbeach and very easy to get to. Some of the local fishing operators will also operate a pickup service from Broadbeach accommodation.
